Why Attend? This symposium goes beyond the headlines and dives deep into the heart of civic discourse—the thoughtful, respectful, and informed exchange of ideas. In today’s polarized world, maintaining the ability to communicate across differences is more important than ever. Media plays a crucial role in shaping how we understand these differences and how we engage with one another as informed citizens.

Topics Include:

  • The current state of local and national news
  • Media’s influence on politics and public opinion
  • The future of journalism in a digital world

Bring your questions and join the conversation during our audience Q&A session. This is a must-attend event for anyone passionate about the role of media in civic life and the health of our local communities.
